SEASONED ROAST CHICKEN

Ingredients
- 1 whole fryer chicken 1300gr
- 3 Tbsp. Medeiros vegetable oil
- ¼ cup Marcum Gourmet Seasoning Rub (such as Beer Can Chicken, Smokey Mesquite)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 °F.
- Pat chicken dry with paper towels.
- Rub oil all over chicken.
- Season chicken with rub; distribute the seasoning evenly over the chicken, including under the skin and in the cavity.
- Roast chicken for 1 ½ to 2 hours (time will vary depending on the size of the chicken). Baste the chicken occasionally with pan juices. Roast until thigh is 170 °F and breast is 165 °F.
- Allow chicken to rest 10 minutes before carving.
