Fish Fillet with Seafood Rice!

Ingredients

For the Fish Fillets:

  • 4 fish fillets
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 tablespoon salt
  • 1/2 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1/2 tablespoon cilantro, chopped

For Frying the Fish:

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

For the Seafood Rice:

  • 5 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 fresh tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 red onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons garlic, chopped
  • 1 small red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 small green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups cilantro, chopped
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons black pepper
  • 1/2 tablespoon salt
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons paprika powder
  • 2 cups vegetable broth
  • 1 cup white wine
  • 1 pack mixed seafood (e.g., shrimp, mussels, squid)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 4 cups cooked rice
  • 1 cup parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
Directions
  1. Marinate the Fish:
    • In a large bowl, combine the fish fillets, lime juice, 2 tablespoons olive oil, salt, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, and cilantro.
    • Mix well to coat the fish fillets evenly.
    • Let the fish marinate for a few minutes.

  2. Cook the Fish:
    • Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
    • Add the marinated fish fillets and cook until they are golden brown and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side.
    • Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  3. Prepare the Seafood Rice:
    • In a large pot or deep skillet, heat 5 tablespoons olive oil over medium heat.
    • Add the chopped tomatoes, red onion, garlic, red bell pepper, and green bell pepper. Sauté until the vegetables are softened.
    • Add the chopped cilantro, black pepper, salt, and paprika powder. Stir to combine.
    • Pour in the vegetable broth and white wine. Bring to a simmer.
    • Add the mixed seafood, Worcestershire sauce, and oyster sauce. Cook for a few minutes until the seafood is just done.
    • Stir in the cooked rice, chopped parsley, and green onions. Mix well to combine and heat through.

  4. Serve:
    • Serve the seafood rice on a large platter.
    • Place the cooked fish fillets on top of the rice.
    • Garnish with additional chopped parsley and green onions if desired.
